Since our inception in 1983, we have consistently been recognized as a national leader in education and advocacy in TCM. OCOM’s exceptionally accomplished faculty, many trained in both TCM and Western medicine, are committed to each student’s growth, understanding, and learning. The clinic experience is specifically designed to develop and sharpen skills in the formulation of diagnoses, the development of treatment plans, patient education, and provision of therapeutic treatments utilizing acupuncture, Chinese herbs, cultivation of qi and Oriental body work. Our Intern Teaching Clinic serves more than 2,500 patients per month. Oregon College of Oriental Medicine recognizes the importance of research to enhanced credibility of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. We’ve established our research program to be one of the most rigorous among colleges of acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
