Description

How would a First Professional Doctorate affect the AOM profession?

Could this lead to a new entry level degree for AOM students?

What would this mean for the future of AOM education?

Join us for a discussion regarding the proposed First Professional Doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. The panel will include Lisa Rohleder, LAc, Skip Van Meter, LAc, Carol Taub, MAT, LAc, Ellen Shefi, LAc, LMT and Tim Chapman, PhD.

January 15, 2010 is the final day that the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) will accept input on whether to permit piloting of First Professional Doctorate programs at acupuncture schools. ACAOM considers all AOM patients, students, prospective students, educators and administrators to be stakeholders in this decision. Alumni are also encouraged to attend and bring their questions and comments. Get informed and share your thoughts with the national accrediting body of AOM education.
